20 Jun Via Beata – A way of blessing
Roundham Woods Way-Station
This relief carving was designed by Cathy Stables. It is made from one board of Lebanon Cedar. The birds were carved and painted by the girls from Norwich ‘Step’ project which seeks to help and support women who have suffered abuse.
The story of the mustard seed was one of the many ‘Kingdom parables’ that Jesus told. (See Mark’s Gospel chapter 4 v30-32) It illustrates how God’s creative power causes great and unexpected things to grow from very small beginnings. When we choose to emgage with Him we find ourselves caught up in this wonderful flow of divine grace.
